CS ImageShare

All the features of CS PaletteShare plus the ability to drag and drop images into your workspace and share them with colleagues in a matter of moments, wherever they might be. The easy way to manage, store and share your accurate colour images and colours online.

Manipulate your image's size and colour in genuine CIE accurate colour space. Import layered images, or build them within ImageShare. Accurately apply colours to individual layers to explore alternate colourways in manufactured goods or visualise the effect of different textures on your colours.

All the images can be stored and retrieved via a web browser, too, so it is simple to accurately colour-enable your web site for the whole world to see.

CS ImageShare Functionality

The ability to import via menu and via "drag and drop" the following image formats:

Multi layer TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, EXIF and PSD (Adobe Photoshop).

Image Explorer allows images to be organised into user-created folders. Folder permissions: All users have a non-shared personal folder within which further folders maybe created. Users may create and share other top-level folders across the organisation, again with hierarchical sub-folders. Folders and images may be marked as "read only" and "search only" as well fully accessible, ensuring secure image access across an organisation.

Images may be:

Displayed at a variety of scales
Rescaled (image size adjustment)
Rotated and flipped horizontally and vertically
Chroma adjusted both by absolute, CIE value and as a percentage. Greys and brights can be adjusted independently.
Lightness adjusted both absolutely and as a percentage. Highlights and shadows can be adjusted independently.
Image white balance from either selected area or illuminant

Layered images are fully supported - layers may be ordered, added, deleted and merged through menu commands and/or drag-and-drop.

Advanced background saving and loading of images means even extremely large images are easy to use.

Colorimetric separation of images is supported from a selected colour with control of both colour difference equation and tolerance threshold. Colours maybe selected from the image and then drag-and dropped into palettes and searches; palette colours may be drag-and-dropped into images to recolour layer(s):

preserving image chroma
preserving image lightness

Images with embedded colour profiles may optionally have those profiles applied. Ability to separate whole image into layers through ΔE tolerancing.

3D Space Graph function shows CIE 1976 L*a*b* projection of colours in image.
